Below are the areas you have the option of serving at camp.
The Facilities Team is definitely a 'jack of all trades' team. The team coordinates with Glorieta staff on maintenance and facility issues and scheduling, and serves as the communication center during the entire week. You'll help set up for different student activities, help with load-in/load-out, oversee packing and unpacking of hauling truck...the list goes on!
The Social Activities Team comes up with and coordinates games for our rowdy celebration time, as well as for camp group during some of the outdoor time.
The Safety Team patrols the campgrounds to help keep an eye on campers. This team works in shifts so that multiple people are on watch around the clock.
The Medical Team mans an area that's designated for any campers or Servant-Leaders who become ill or are injured during camp. They also administer all medicine to campers (prescription and non-prescription). All Medical Team Servant-Leaders must be licensed RNs or doctors.
Small Group Leaders stay with students 24/7. You'll room with them, lead them around campus to their different activities, and lead their study and discussion times.
The Load-in/Load-out Team makes sure the day-of registration activities are organized, and helps move campers and their parents through the process.
